This is my first go at making a "soft sculpture". His head and feet are hand sculpted by yours truly, with marble eyes and metallic sheen paint. His neck and tail are wired and lightly stuffed, so he is very poseable. All four of his legs also move. He's almost 3 feet long! If you like him, he'll be for sale at NC Comicon this weekend. www.nccomicon.com
What do you think? If people like these enough I may add them as a commission option.
its adorable! What is the blue material you used for his body?
I really like the style and face of this one. Very nicely done!
Oh, I LOVE it!
Too bad I am too poor to order one! T_T
....maybe someday we can do a trade or something?
Thank you so much!
I do love trades but it will depend on if I happen to have enough money to cover the semester of tuition
Yes, and as for me, what kind of trade I could do would depend on what materials I have available already without having to go buy more stuff... but still, maybe sometime we can do some kind of trade (not necessarily like your dragon sculpture or anything specific or that would cost you money) ...it could be fun.
Awwww I want him
that would be nice to purchase!!!
Thank you! Would you like for me to contact you if he does not get sold?
This is amazing Soph!! I don't know how you even 0_0
You know, I bet a snake would look good in this style. Have you ever seen those mythical snakes with wings? hmm...
Thanks! Just a wire frame inside. And a TON of handsewing the fur directly to fit over the clay body and body parts And of course heavy duty glue to attache the fur edged to the clay, so you don't have to worry about him coming apart from being posed.
Very interesting ^_^
Ooohh! that looks amazing !! Well done!
